Nebraska's Fatal Air
Crashes of WWIIA new book detailing each of the 60 fatal crash sites in Nebraska during WWII is finalized and now ready for purchase. Aviation author Jerry Penry of Milford, Nebraska, has spent nearly three years painstakingly compiling this detailed information. The cover illustration depicting the tragic mid-air collision of three B-17's near Harvard has been painted by aviation artist Jim Horan of Omaha, Nebraska. Thousands of miles were traveled and over 250 people were interviewed to compile this information. Several key eyewitnesses to crash sites have now passed away since being interviewed, making this research invaluable and compiled before their stories were lost to time.
