The memorial location for the 28 airmen killed in the crash of the C-47 is in the cemetery along the north side of Highway 12 just south of Naper.
The roadside memorial sign is also located at the cemetery.
A portion of the museum in Naper is dedicated to those who died in the crash.
A portion of the Thayer County Museum in Belvidere, Nebraska, is also dedicated to those who died in the crash.
